OUR STORY

The Yasha Foundation was established in memory of Yasha Selyaninov: a son, a friend, a defender, and one of the many lost in the fight for Ukraine’s future.

He was someone we knew, trusted, and cared for deeply. After his death, we made a promise: his name would not fade into silence.

What began as a personal response to loss became a public commitment to honor the fallen and support the living.

Previously known as The Robin Hood Project, we operated under that name during our earliest efforts to deliver aid and assistance. After Yasha’s death, we chose to carry his name forward: to reflect the heart of our mission and the person who inspired it most.

Today, what started with Yasha has grown to include many. Through remembrance, support, and education, we work to ensure that every name is remembered and every story continues to be told.

Recognition & Honors

The work of the Yasha Foundation (formerly known a The Robin Hood Project), and the people behind it have been recognized in Ukraine and internationally. From battlefield commendations to global platforms, each honor serves as a reminder of the responsibility we carry: to act with integrity and to speak for those who no longer can.
